The Lightsaber
I always thought something was missing about how it worked in the rpg. Here are some changes I think could be made. I think this more accurately simulates what we see in the movies. So...
Non-random damage
Base Lightsaber damage of1d8+8 instead of 2d8 base damage. Otherwise, If Han rolled a 2 for damage on Hoth, he couldn't even cut open a dead Tauntaun.
Increased critical threat range
Every time the Jedi gains Increase Lightsaber Damage, they also increase their critical threat range by 1. This stacks with other Critical Modifiers. It just seems to me that the Lightsaber would Crit like crazy. In the right hands.
Here's a new phrase for Jedi Younglings to tease each other with:
- "You couldn't cut open a dead Tauntaun!'
